I was floating head over heels in my room

in slow circles, like laundry that was

machine drying in extreme slow motion,

above my bed, in this weird, ethereal, peach

colored fairy costume.



When I tried to reach out and stop, there

was this heavy noise in my head, and I felt

like my head would explode, so I stopped

trying to stop even though the spinning was

making me feel extremely sick to my

stomache.



Then I was falling very slowly face towards

the ground... Like I was descending from

a rope climb, but terribly frightened

because all was dark... Slowly, just

falling, falling, falling...



There was this friend there; it was a friend

that I constantly try to convince to have

dinner or go out to a movie who's very

trustworthy but keeps a distance, who grew

up in the same area as my dad. My friend

was in my room, and I was still falling just

under the ceiling but going nowhere, unable

to speak.



And then I was crying. I don't like people

to see me cry, I wanted to say something

but could only cry without sound.



My friend was reading some books I had

out loud and sitting next to the window, I

was embarrassed my toys were in plain

view; and my guts were turning inside out

from the falling, unable to even breath as

I cried and all of the air was being pushed

little by little out of my lungs by silent

sobs.
