I was riding in a van with my parents, and i think my brother was following behind in my toyota corolla. We were rolling down the highway in a almost dawn, or very cloudy with sun around the edges kind of light to it. The land reminded me of a winter frost and cold, the dark brown grass glazed over with ice, but it was a very pretty view.
At a stop i convinced everyone that i should go drive my car to help out driver rotation, or something. I just really wanted to drive my car! There were a lot of other people in the van, probably more than could comfortable fit in there, but i just couldn't focus on who or how many exactly was there. JP must have been there in the back with me because he followed me over to the corolla where i exchanged seats with my older brother. JP sits next to me, while my brother and his girlfriend share the back. I'm not sure which parent was driving the van at first, but at this point its my mom. Its her van anyway.
Some girl about my age, with straight mousy brown hair, is driving a car ahead of my mom. Me, being the speed demon i am, meant to speed up to mom and pass her so i could show her i knew where exactly we were going. I did, but i didn't notice the girl and so cut right in front of her car. She got pissed, passed me and sped out of sight.
Somehow we all ended up at a park. Still wintery, and i think there was a waterfall, since there was icycles, and there definitely was a cliff. The brown grass was still around, but little tuffs of tough green grass stood out here and there.
and that's where i forget the rest...
ANALYSIS:
The drive reminds me of the one my parents and i drove from home to upstate New York to visit my brother's girlfriend's folks for christmas. My brother and his girlfriend were already there, so no toyota, but we did take the van except my dad drove most of it. It was a pretty ride, snow snaked across the road without sticking and the light filtered through the clouds as if to say it was as far away as could be. It was a gorgeous, but very long, ride.
The girl came in because it finally hit me the other day that i might have cut some people off while driving my toyota, and not even realized it. I was just sitting there in a chair thinking about driving when it hit me. Sorry to anyone i've done that too. I didn't mean any harm! Oh and by the way, my toyota corolla is really my dads, but my brother drove it until he was out of college, and then i got it for most of my senior year of highschool. I love that car a lot, its low matinence (except when broken into) and it has great handling, but i'm off track.
Anyway, the rest of the dream is lost, but it was very interesting, which bugs me to know end.
