It is the birthday of my friend Brian, who is a rather exuberant kind of guy.



"So how old are you?" I ask him.



He grins, and says, "I'm 48!"



This shocks me. "48?!" I ask.



He nods and flips open his wallet revealing his driver's license. The birthday is clear - he was born in 1952. *can't do math in my dreams*



I am amazed. "Why - you are two years older than my Dad, and you don't look a day over 22!"



He laughs raucously and yells "I am going to live forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
