Taking over the for the Gods

I had taken over the job for the man who takes people across the river styx in mythology. Instead of rowing them across in a boat, I had to carry them over the river in my arms. The river was very tumultuous and I had to learn where to cross. As I was carrying a woman over the river, I learned that two high school students had killed 187 people in their high school math and english classes, including their teachers and I would be responsible for carrying them all into the afterlife. I wondered why I had been assigned to the task, and then I awoke.
