A woman is drying some nuts in the sun. All the nuts are tied to long strings hanging from the edge of a canyon.
Two young boys come to the top of the cliff where the woman is sitting, in the distance you can see a non-working volcano. The boys ask for one string of nuts and as the woman leans forward to pick one, a stranger comes into view.
The stranger is accompanied by a man the woman knows from her village. There seems to be other people on top of the cliff since the man as he approaches suddenly pushes some man dressed in blue off the cliff. There are women on some other cliff higher than the one where the stranger, the boys and the woman are and the women scream when the man falls down.
They are afraid of the stranger and they run away. The boys get scared too and get away as fast as they can. Now the woman is alone with the stranger.
The woman who was picking the nut string for the boys is scared too, she dropped the string and can't escape because she wants to collect all the nuts from the ground.
The stranger comes closer to the woman and kicks some of her nuts off the cliff down to the canyon where the man he killed is lying.
"Oh, excuse me," the stranger says with a mean smile. The woman has her eyes fixed on the dead body in the canyon below and doesn't even move.
"Mm," says the stranger, "here, let me help." He pulls the woman up pretty violently and somehow takes her to the canyon below. There he picks up the nuts very carefully, bringing them to the woman who is staring at the body in complete shock.
The stranger is cheerfully explaining things to the woman, what he did on the volcano area and such, but the woman hardly hears a word, she is so shocked by the sight of the dead body in front of her.
The stranger stops when he realizes the woman isn't listening at all and irritably asks, "what is wrong?", the woman is frightened and won't face the stranger.
"He...he...I know him....knew him....he was from this village, like I..."
The man glances the body and raises an eyebrow, "ah.....sorry...", he says without any emotion in his words and then glances to his sides to the darkness of the shadows and licks his lips. "Listen....", the stranger says and grabs the woman's arm forcing her to come with him to the end of the canyon where there is a large door.
"Do you know what this is?"
The woman goes to the blue/silver door and gets mesmerized. She touches the ornaments on the door very lightly and carefully, with respect.
"The emperor of the Heavens...", she says touching the upper ornament, a silver crescent moon, "...and his son, the falling moon..."
she says, sliding her fingers to the lower ornament, a full moon that looks like its falling to the ground from the sky.
"I didn't know it was here... they say that this would be the door to Heaven..."
"And the god who walks past this door to the other side will rule all. All.", says the stranger behind the woman, deep in his thoughts. The woman is startled when she notices he's so close to her and the man presses her against the door heavily, "clever girl...", he whispers to her ear and carefully cracks the door open.
Behind the door is a large Japanese palace and the woman sighs, "it...it is so beautiful!"
The dark stranger grins and jerks the woman away from the door, grabbing her hair, forcing her to look up to the volcano, "and then how does it go? A human must be thrown into the dead volcano, a blood sacrifice...", he whispers into the woman's ear, "the lava will pour down the hills, through the door and destroy the palace... When the palace is destroyed, I shall rule...", he smiles and makes the woman climb the canyon holding her tightly.
"But what about my village!!", the woman screams in desperation, "and my son! I have a child in the village!", she pleads but the man simply smiles and shrugs, "when you will sacrifice yourself to me, I shall make you my wife. Nothing else will matter."
They reach the volcano and suddenly the man grabs her hair again and holds her close, "I will tolerate no tricks. So do not try to escape. You cannot escape", he says with a dark voice and smiles, "you and I, we will become the new rulers...Everything else will be destroyed but it doesn't matter...", the stranger laughs.
Suddenly the woman starts to fight the dark stranger and he man misses his step and falls down.
The woman's heart sinks and she comes down the hill to him, "are you alright? Are you alright?" she puts her hand on his forhead.
And the dream ends.
