I was inside the little office I see when I pass the landromat, making feo beads with a group of people, I was using red and yellow, the teacher came up to me and asked, "what other colour are you going to to use?" I wanted to use the purple but two other girls were using it, so I replyed, "I've used all my colours," she nodded and turned away.

the door flew open and my older brother ran in saying, "come outside, you have to see the sunset!"

but only I went out and stood on the corner, looking at the fire-gold of sunset, it was setting in the wrong place though, I noticed, behind the landromat, not down in the hills like it usually did,

a movement in the field next ot me caught my eye, it was a young man about my age running through the tall grass, he seemed anxious and afraid, and the corner I was standing suddenly became very tall, and as I reached down to pull him up, his fingernails dug into my hand and I let go with a cry of surprise, dark red blood was welling in two cuts on the palm of my hand, like a snake bite.

I wasn't angry at him though, and reached down again to help him. I saw he was holding a scythe. once he was up we started running, he glacned at me like he was going to speak, but said nothing. when we finally stoped I realized we had come right backto the field and looked at him to tell him to go, to tell him whatever was chasing him was near, but he just smiled and said in a voice I remember as a voice but really had no sound. "Paint the sky rose,"

"what does that mean?" I asked but he just shook his head ,

when I woke up I actually looked to see if my hands were cut.
