Usually if I think about something before I fall asleep, I dream about it. I'ld like to say that I was not in any way, shape, or form, thinking about Really Hot Trumpet Guy last night.
I was at my old house, playing with the neighbor's kids from across the street. I had some friends with me-Shawn was down for the summer, and Really Hot Trumpet Guy had come up with me to see Great Falls, and the Municiple Band that we have. We were all playing when one of the kids (he was about 8) tackled me to the ground. I humoured him, saying that he was SOOO heavy and that I'd never be able to get up now!
After a while, the kids went home, and Shawn had to go with his Dad. Really Hot Trumpet Guy and I were talking and roughhousing around. He had tackled me and was lying on me, and said "Do you think that you'll be able to get up now?" and had a wicked grin on his face.
We went to a Hot Dog Bar to eat (which is odd because there isn't one in Great Falls that I know of). Sitting in a secluded part of the Bar, we had a conversation about some serious things. Conversation ran out, and we just sat looking into each other's eyes when he said "Kim, I'm gonna kiss ya" and he did.
It was interesting, because he kissed me not like The Ex, but more like the Little Engineering Man did. Sheer sweetness. Afterwords, Really Hot Trumpet Guy and I became "more then friends" and the music department thought that was so sweet.
A little bit later, RHTG had asked me to meet him for lunch. I showed up, but he didn't. I talked with some people that I knew that were there, and they said that it was interesting that he would haul off and make out with me, but then stand me up.
I don't know if he showed up or not, since I woke up after that.
