it's an early winter's night. the sky is a purplish orange, and the falling snow glitters in the glare of the street lights below. it is about midnight. in the big brown house, there is a bedroom with posters and artwork and photos on the walls. the only light comes from the numerous candles lit here and there around the room. there is a faint scent of vanilla incense hanging in the air. music plays softly in the background. a young woman of barely 16 with short dark hair and sad mysterious eyes lies on her side alone on the bed. she has a beautiful face that rarely smiles anymore. underneath the blankets to keep out the winter chill, she is naked, her steady breathing is marked by the constant rise and fall of her shoulders. she shivers with a draft entering through her window. she closes her eyes to take in the music and suddenly she feels another warmth next to her. he has appeared out of nowhere to be with her and only her. he is tall and handsome, with sandy hair and hazel eyes that speak volumes of his soul. his smile could melt your heart, and his presence is one that makes you forget the world. he joins her underneath the blankets on this cold winter night.
