I had to be in this play. It was last minute. I kept forgetting my lines. I didn't go on stage yet. I kept trying to find Chantal to remember my lines. She was in the scene I was in. Deja vu. A store. I got a Coke.



The audience of elementary school kids (?) just got bigger. I had to go to the washroom. I went. Laurie, one of my Drama teachers, called on other people telling them their roles and sort of signaling that they still had to go on. She didn't signal me. She just smiled in that way where you'd feel sorry for someone who forgot their cue.
