in real life i'd been out of high school for years when i had this dream.

dream:

i'm in high school. there's some sort of theatrical play being put on and all of my friends comprise the cast. I'm just an observer, not taking part. Helping a little bit with the sets.

I was walking down the street towards the giant beautiful theater when I see these huge eels writhing across the ground and eating anyone in their path. I'm horrified, i could barely handle watching tremors even though it was a comedy. But it's headed for the theater and it's going to kill everyone I love, so I have to think of a plan.

I try shooting the eels and it does nothing. I hit the eel with big sharp things. nothing happens.

I suddenly know exactly what will stop the eels and i run to the grocery store. Soon, I (the heroine of this story) am running around pouring giant glass pitchers of freshly squeezed orange juice over the bodies of the eels and hitting them over the head with kielbasa. the land eels wriggle and screech and do a wicked witch of the west as they shrivel up and die.

I saved the day.

i don't know when i dreamed this. this was a few years ago. some of my dreams are so vivid i remember them forever.
