this is a dream i had a long time ago, and i wrote it in a different journal.

2000-06-12

last night i had a dream about ej.

i was sleeping by a tree near my house. i woke up and walked to my house. he and three other guys were moving bricks away from my house. my house was locked, and i was the only one with a key. i was about to open it when ej said something to stop me. i think he said, "no..." or something like that. i stopped and said, "ej, it's my house." then i realized that something was wrong. so, i stopped and was about to make an excuse for not opening it because there were other people who i didn't reconize(sp?), who wanted to get in. then this older guy said "it's my house, too." he took the key from me, and i think i went through the back way. the next thing i remember was being inside on the top of a medevil looking stair case lookng down at ej running out the door. i ran after him and called out his name. he stopped for me to catch up with him. i made him sit down on the side walk and talk to me. i kept saying, "ej, what's wrong?" over and over again. then he told me that he had some beer in the house and that he was going to be thrown out if they found out. he said that he had been living with me for the past few months, and something about working, and babysittng his little brother.(which the other three guys were kind of young looking.) i told him that t would be all right and then i hugged him and woke up.

it was intense, and i think it was in black and white. i remember that hug and will for a long time.

i never did forget it. i still carry that feeling with me, and i remember it like it really happened.
